the beauty of Lang Co lagoon

Last night was the end of one more 3-day photography tour and workshop in central Vietnam. After a day and a half in and around Hoi An, we drove to the stunning lagoon of Lang Co for yet again an amazing photography session.

This may have been the best afternoon I have ever spent in Lang Co, and I feel I fell in love with it for the 4th time!

All conditions were together: a superb dynamic small group ready to get dirty for the shot, one of the best light I had ever seen there, and I personally was in a great happy mood as it marks the beginning of my “low season” when I have fewer groups and can finally enjoy taking photos for myself.

I will talk about it in a coming blog post, but I believe being in the right mood when going to take photos can maybe guarantee 50% of the final result.

Anyway, we were also super lucky to find the right people working in the lagoon at the right spot at the right time. Having our own car and being able to move wherever and whenever we wanted was very useful and we managed to shoot 4 different locations within 2 hours.

Here is a photo selection from that afternoon, from about 2 hours of shooting. Hope you enjoy!

Join me on this amazing photography tour which is happening every month, 6 times per year. The next ones will be June 3th – July 2nd / July 21st – 23rd (Fully booked) and August 25th to 27th.

Fabulous pictures Etienne. Memories of spending a great photo tour with you and the group, now so long ago, stream back and whilst I need to settle my move first -downsizing home is important too – I really strive to joining you again for another tour in Vietnam. Well done. Jean-Pierre
