Day 1 – Arrival in Song Cau

Welcome to Central Vietnam! Your driver will meet you at the airport and take you to our beachside hotel in Song Cau, a peaceful fishing town close to Quy Nhon. We’ll gather in the evening for a welcome dinner overlooking the sea—an opportunity to get to know each other, share expectations, and introduce the exciting journey ahead.

Includes: airport pick-up, dinner, and hotel night.

Aerial view of a coastal landscape with a sandy beach, lush greenery, mountains in the background, and numerous fish farms or salt ponds separated by fences across the water.

Day 2 – First Light, First Village

We dive straight into the adventure with sunrise at a traditional fishing village. Nets, boats, and the first golden light of day set the stage for our warm-up session. After lunch and a break at the hotel, we’ll head out to explore dramatic salt fields and nearby villages—perfect for capturing people’s daily lives.

Day 3 – Market Mayhem & Portraits in the Fields

At dawn, we enter one of the largest and liveliest fish markets in Central Vietnam. It’s a whirlwind of movement, color, and energy, as fishermen unload their catch under the rising light. In the afternoon, we’ll slow the pace in the rice fields and villages, practicing portraits and environmental compositions with locals at work.

Day 4 – City Lights & Village Life

This morning we explore a bustling city market, a treasure trove of light, layers, and delicious breakfasts. After recharging, the afternoon takes us back into the countryside, where farmers, salt workers, craftsmen, and timeless rural scenes offer endless opportunities for candid photography.

Day 5 – On the Road to Tam Ky

After breakfast, we’ll gather for our first group photo review to learn from each other’s images. In the afternoon, we drive south toward Hoi An, with plenty of photo stops along the way. We’ll end the day by the sea near Tam Ky, where the beach comes alive with local activity at sunset.

Day 6 – Vietnam’s Most Exciting Fishing Village

Sunrise brings us to the most dynamic fishing village in Vietnam—an explosion of movement and color as hundreds of boats unload side by side. It’s one of the tour’s highlights. After this adrenaline-filled shoot, we continue to Hoi An, check into our hotel, and head into the surrounding countryside for a softer, golden sunset session among the fields and villages.

Day 7 – Nets, Markets & Village Life

At first light, we capture Hoi An’s iconic fishing nets on the river, glowing under the morning sky. Later, we explore a bustling local market full of faces and stories. The afternoon takes us into another nearby village, where farmers at work provide the perfect subjects for environmental portraits and storytelling images.

Day 8 – Ancient Hoi An & The Lagoons

Early morning is the best time to experience Hoi An Old Town at its most authentic—quiet streets, soft light, and locals beginning their day. We’ll photograph the lively central market before heading north in the afternoon. The journey takes us to spectacular lagoons outside of Hue, where we’ll catch fishermen at work under a fiery sunset.

After breakfast, we wander into nearby villages to build intimate photo stories. In the afternoon, we return to Hoi An for our final group review—a chance to reflect, learn, and celebrate the journey.
