Pics of Asia offers structured, single-destination photographic workshops in Hoi An, Vietnam (including instruction, assignments, and critiques), or you can join us on multi-destination photo tours to some of Asia’s least well-known but most photogenic locations in Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Myanmar. All our tours and workshops are led by knowledgeable, enthusiastic guides who will open your eyes to the photographic potential of Asia, and help you develop the skills you need to capture it. All you need is an open aperture and an open mind.
Before we create a new Pics of Asia itinerary, we scout each location ourselves – often more than once. We hook up with local photographers and let them show us their favourite places to take pictures. We also check out the options for accommodation (home stays or local hotels), real food and cold beers.
We take the time to understand the people and cultures we encounter, and we freely share this knowledge – along with everything we’ve learned about photography in Asia – so that you can grow in skills and confidence and get the images you want. The best classroom is always the market, the harbour or the café.
