The best photography tours in South East Asia
A bit more detail..
Pics of Asia photo tours offer a variety of ways to improve your photography skills with the guidance of a knowledgeable instructor. You can choose between highly structured, single-destination photography workshops in Hoi An (which include instruction, assignments, and critiques) and wider-ranging photography field trips to remote and picturesque photography sites in Vietnam, Bangladesh and Myanmar catering to those that seek more intensive instruction. All you need is a camera and a little wanderlust.
Before creating a new photography tour we travel on location and explore every potential photo spot. We meet locally based photographers and closely work alongside them to find out the best places one would not usually travel to. We also meet travel companies and explain our vision of the tour and our expectations.
Our goal is to provide inspiring tutorials, covering a wide range of photography techniques as well as incorporating unique and memorable travel experiences. To make decisions easy we rate our tours depending on comfort and complexity. For more authenticity, we seek out home stays instead of luxury hotels as they allow us to stay in remote locations – right where the best photo opportunities are, allowing us to immerse ourselves into the local culture. Finally, we make sure all our local tour guides are also photographers with a strong sense of curiosity to discover people and cultures, encouraging fun interactions and sourcing the most photogenic locations.
