Hoi An Old Town Photography 2025: My Favorite Morning Photos from Vietnam’s Most Photogenic City
Hoi An Old Town has a very different soul in the early morning. Before the cafés open and the streets fill with visitors, the city belongs to the people who live there — vendors setting up, elders walking slowly along the river, shopkeepers sweeping yesterday away. These are the moments I’m drawn to, and the reason I keep going back out at dawn, camera in hand.
In this post, I’m sharing my favorite Hoi An Old Town photos from 2025, all taken during my morning photo walk with the Hoi An Photo Tour & Workshop. Every image comes from real, unposed moments shaped by soft light, quiet streets, and simple human interactions. Hoi An isn’t just beautiful — it’s emotional, subtle, and deeply human when you slow down enough to see it. This is the Hoi An I love to photograph, and the one I enjoy sharing with photographers who walk these streets with me before the city wakes up.
