Saigon Photo Walk – August 24th 2019

September 2019 update: Saigon photo walk wrap up

What an event! For our first photo walk organized in Vietnam, over 35 people joined us. We did not expect so much turnout for our first event not happening in central Vietnam.

We did split the group into 3 smaller groups and headed to the streets of Saigon to talk about light, composition, and how to approach people. Lots of expats joined us, making the walk even better due to their local knowledge.

Another huge thank you to our sponsor Fstop Gear who gave freebies to all participants! And of course, thanks to Quinn and Lee for leading this workshop along with me! What a great team!

We are running another photo walk, this time in Hanoi, on September 15th. I am pleased to announce that we will be joined by Frederik Wissink and street photographer Chu Viet Ha. This photo walk will be focusing on street photography, in Hanoi, one f the best locations on Earth for that type of photography!

August 2019:

Join us on one of our monthly events! This time, we’re organizing a photography walk in the heart of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh city), gathering hobbyists and professional photographers. Program: photography walk, workshops, discussion and definitely some fun time!

For this photography walk in Saigon, I will be joined by my friends Quinn Ryan Mattingly (from Saigon photography tours) and Lee Starnes. We have been running photography tours and workshops in Asia for years together, and the dynamic of this team will ensure a great morning.

The meeting time for the walk is 7.30am, and the place is in the corner of Pham Ngu Lao and Nguyen Thi Nghia (23/9 Park).

There is a Facebook event page, where you can sign up and get a chance to win some freebies from our sponsor F-stop gear!
